About Michael Wayne Jackson
Even as a kid, I enjoyed creating lasting friendships, some of which are ongoing to this day. As we grew, friendships that started with tag turned into teamwork in school sports, in one case even playing for opposing teams in college! [Need more here] In my heart, I find joy from meaningful relationships and from helping others get what they want. I treat my clients like family.
That is one of the reasons I majored in Psychology at Sonoma State University, learning more about the needs and wants of others and the keys to meaningful relationships. I have always loved the bonds formed in a sports team. In my early twenties, that passion led me to play right field for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Today, I am equally passionate about working with a team to reach a common business goal, often the purchase or sale of a home. As a result, I am strong and conscientious, and I am a great negotiator. My ability to sense both sides and my competitive insight are part of my ‘master key’ as one of the best Novato realtors in the competitive Marin County real estate market.
One key to helping others is that I make sure things get done when they need to and in the right way. People started calling me ‘Action Jackson’. I do not sit around waiting for things to happen. I have a team of real estate professionals such as a contractor and a painter who know how to make your home its most presentable. I do what needs to be done to keep the process fresh and moving. This is one reason why my clients win any ‘bidding wars’. I enjoy being the Novato realtor who gets things done.
Along the way to becoming a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Real Estate, I helped others meet their home-purchase goals through mortgage lending. While learning the things that help people pre-qualify for a home mortgage, I also learned that some real estate deals fell through because the real estate agent dropped the ball. That experience led me to become a real estate agent so that I can help homebuyers and sellers to win. I love real estate and practice it with drive and grace. My exceptional journey into real estate gives me unique insight about paving the way to your real-estate destination. (your perfect home?) And, if you are middle-aged or a senior, my training as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) will prove valuable.
I have lived in Novato since 1989 and am now seeing it with the eyes of a family man as my toddler daughter, Roux, and I explore the nearby beaches, woods, and hiking trails. When not with Roux, I enjoy yoga, hiking, watching sports and hanging out with friends.
